ChatGPT Connector

Connect ChatGPT directly to Gosset's comprehensive database of 100,000+ drug assets through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Requirements

• ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Edu subscription
• Access to ChatGPT's MCP connectors feature

Limitation

ChatGPT can only retrieve 20 results per query, which may not provide comprehensive drug information for complex searches. For unlimited results, we recommend using Claude Connector.

Setup Instructions if you have a ChatGPT Business subscription

Step 1: Access ChatGPT

Go to chatgpt.com and sign in with your Pro, Team, Edu, or Business account.

Step 2: Navigate to Connectors

Click Workspace → Settings → Connectors in the ChatGPT interface.

Step 3: Create New Connector

Click the "Create" button to add a new MCP connector.

Step 4: Configure Gosset Connector

Fill in the connector details exactly as shown:

Name: Gosset
MCP Server URL: https://mcp.gosset.ai/sse
Authentication: OAuth

Step 5: Enable Connector in Chat

In any chat conversation:

1. Click the dropdown menu
2. Select "Use connectors"
3. Add connectors to your chat

Step 6: Select Gosset

Choose Gosset from the available connectors list.

Setup Instructions if you have a ChatGPT Plus or Pro subscription

Step 1: Access ChatGPT

Go to chatgpt.com and sign in with your Plus, Pro, Edu, or Business account.

Step 2: Navigate to Connectors

Click on your name in the bottom left corner → Settings → Connectors in the ChatGPT interface.

Step 3: Enable Developer Mode

In Connectors, click on Advanced settings at the bottom, then activate Developer mode. Then go back to the main Connectors tab.

Step 4: Create New Connector

Click the "Create" button to add a new MCP connector.

Step 5: Configure Gosset Connector

Fill in the connector details exactly as shown:

Name: Gosset
MCP Server URL: https://mcp.gosset.ai/sse
Authentication: OAuth

Step 6: Refresh

Refresh the webpage using your browser's refresh button.

Step 7: Enable Connector in Chat

In any chat conversation:

1. Click the dropdown menu (+) icon
2. Select ...More → Developer Mode
3. Click Add sources → Gosset

or if you'd like to use Gosset with Deep Research:

1. Click the dropdown menu (+) icon
2. Select Deep research
3. Click Sources → Gosset

Once connected, you can ask ChatGPT questions like:

Understanding the Results

ChatGPT will return up to 20 drug results per query. Each result includes:

• Drug name and development status
• Target information and mechanism of action
• Clinical trial phases and regulatory status
• Company information and partnerships
• Competitive landscape insights

Working with the 20-Result Limit

Since ChatGPT is limited to 20 results per query, you can:

1. Use specific filters: Ask for drugs in specific phases, targeting specific proteins, or from particular companies
2. Follow up queries: Ask follow-up questions to explore different aspects
3. Refine searches: Use more specific criteria to get the most relevant results

Example of Refined Searching:

Show me EGFR inhibitors in Phase 3 trials

Then follow up with:

Now show me EGFR inhibitors in Phase 2 trials

Troubleshooting

Connection Issues

• Ensure you have a ChatGPT Pro, Team, Edu, or Business subscription
• Verify the MCP Server URL is exactly: https://mcp.gosset.ai/sse
• Check that OAuth authentication is selected

No Results Returned

• Try broader search terms initially
• Ensure your query is related to drug development or biotech
• Check if the connector is properly enabled in your chat

Limited Results

• Remember the 20-result limit is a ChatGPT restriction
• Consider using Claude Connector for comprehensive results
• Use multiple targeted queries instead of broad searches
